How to buy a VPS with Bitcoin (privately)
Buying a VPS with Bitcoin is faster and simpler than most people expect — especially when the host is built for it. On BTCServers there is no checkout form asking for your legal name, no card, and no verification step. You fund a prepaid balance with BTC and deploy from it. Here is the whole process.
Step by step
- 01Create an accountSign up with an email and a password. A burner or throwaway email is perfectly fine — no name or ID needed.
- 02Open the top-up screenChoose Bitcoin and the amount you want to add. You will get a deposit address for that top-up.
- 03Send your BitcoinPay the address from any wallet. Your top-up status updates live as the payment settles on-chain.
- 04Deploy your VPSPick a plan, a region and an OS image, and hit deploy. Root access is ready in about a minute.
Why pay with Bitcoin instead of a card?
A card ties a server to your bank, your billing address and your legal identity. Bitcoin keeps all of that out of the loop. Combined with an email-and-password account (a burner email is fine) and our minimal-logging posture, a Bitcoin-funded VPS is simply not attached to your name.
If you want to remove even the on-chain trail, you can top up with Monero instead and spend that balance on the exact same servers — the price and specs are identical.
How long does it take?
Top-up settlement depends on the network and is usually quick; after that, provisioning a VPS takes roughly 55 seconds. In practice you can go from "no account" to "root prompt" in a few minutes.
